Altenew Academy - Class Nine, Easy Die Cutting Techniques
For my class submission I have selected this card created using Layered Medallion Cover Die B and Floral Fantasy stamp set, following the guide laid out in Lesson 4.
As crafters we love to get the most out of our supplies. For my class submission I wanted to use my die to emboss and created a textured card panel on which to build my design.
On to this textured panel, I have die cut layered stamped flowers from Floral Fantasy in dark and light tones along with the leaves. I wanted to play with perspective with this design and packed the card panel with stamped images, letting the leaves flow over the edge of the card.
I have mat and layered the panel with vellum and a layer coloured card using the same ink used in the stamping to achieve a custom colour. A little Wink of Stella adds sparkle to the flowers and I have finished with a die cut "hello" sentiment in black and vellum.
